After having seen a Rippers game, my initial reaction is that there is much ado about nothing. The on-field product was mediocre, however, it was still fairly enjoyable. Team owner David Martin has taken a lot of flack in regards to starting a professional baseball team in London but it is plain to see he has put his heart and soul into this team. Not only is Martin the owner, but he is also the GM and on-field manager.
